yeah so i brushed my hair to the sides and all

and u know i'mma real wavy type of dude as is with the short hair so it's wavy at the roots

now what happens when i put a wave cap down on it tight burshes to sides... it makes these big curls................ what is going on there? any explanations? lol

i'd rather have the curls long as it dont lock lol.... i know they look nice and soft but everything that shines isn't gold i knwo

I couldn't show whole head b/c I just woke up. lol. ...........but basically base of my hair gets wavy and ends straighten a lil bit

middle of head starts curling like shown above but i pull them out and straighten it if i can.... seems rather tough b/c when i put hair down, comes back pretty much

That's just the natural wave/curl pattern of your hair. Some people have 3 types of hair textures so your sides may be tighter curled and crown part looser curled and so on. To maintain that curl definition you will have to get a texturizer or gook it down with a lot of product, but once it dries you'll get that fro look..

What is your ultimate goal in your hair growth process?

right now i"m trying to just keep my sides growing .......... i've had trouble letting it keep up with the top.....

I just like having my hair....................... braids are cool and all that but nothing spectacular........ Letting my hair out natural and the extended curls that aren't activator inspired......... i dont' mind that.. it's cool and looks good.....

my uncles, 2 of 'em, had long nice hair.. it influenced me .........but their father (my grandfather) was diff from mine..... they have hair that's light and curly........... mine's thick and curly aka if i don't moisturize my hair breaks like crazy.....and their hair was a lot faster growing and easier to manage.........

but i really just wnat to let it keep growing and i'll let a girl braid it up............ if i ever settle down and my girl wasn't able to braid....... i'd probably just cut it.... i just don't like doing all that pretty boy crap to impress people lol
