 Eve Has Launched Fetish for a 3rd Time!
New York, NY (CNS) - Rapper Eve is re-launching her fashion line Fetish at Macy's Juniors department. The newly revamped apparel line is the third incarnation of her contemporary fashion range.
She told NY Post, "You know what they say, third time's the charm. And I believe it - it's my favorite number."
For the new Fetish, she partnered with Chris Laurita, the president and CEO of Fetish/Signature Apparel Group, for a collection of skinny jeans, soft burnout T-shirts, sweatshirts and sequined party dresses.
So what's the difference between the first two and the third line? Eve admits she would wear the clothes now, unlike before.
She continued, "This is stuff I really have in my closet. The first two times I supported it, but I didn't really want to wear it."
"And this time around it feels good when I see other people in it. Or if my friends are like, 'Let me get that jacket.'"
Eve also candidly said that she doesn't design for her own line saying she has a design team and "it's not like I do all this stuff myself - at all!"
But the rapper still wants the clothing range to prosper on its own merits, and not just a support act for her other ventures.
She told the paper, "I don't want this line to be about what album is coming out, or what movie is coming out, or what single is out right now - I want it to have legs of its own."
