| | What are ya women look for in a brand?
What do women look for in a brand (especially in hip hop inspired/rap inspired/urban brands or streetwear brands)? Give me some advice and tell me what ya are looking for or want in a brand besides good quality? Tell me what ya dilemmas in fashion and what solution ya want upcoming brands to solve? (Yes, some of my writing has improve because I'm in college!) I'm attending college for fashion design associate degree.
Designs
Visible name brand logos?
Overprinted name brand logos?
Nonvisible name brand logos?
More colorful optons?
Fitting?
More art and design driven than name brand logo driven?
Really minimalist and simple
Adversting
Little or no sex exploitation in adversting?
Photoshopped or non photoshopped?
When comes to models, diversity in ethnicities groups, body types, and heights?

Yes I like visible name brand logos. If I wanted to be label free I would buy all my clothes from Walmart.
Overprint- No
Colors- yes
Fitting- Like stretch in my jeans, long length, tighter waist line, medium inseam....no low rider. Shirts- I like them cut in to show off waist but they must have enough room for the girls.
Sex sells so use it in the ads. Doesn't bother me. They try to sell a lifestyle along with the brand and I'm not mad about it.
Photoshopped makes pics look better.
Diversity is always good.

I'm really not into big logos anymore. So, that would be a no go.
Colors are good as long as they don't draw to much attention.
I basically like my clothes to look classic so I don't have to worry about updating my wardrobe every couple of months.
As far as advertising goes... sex does sell. But, you'll probably gain more respect by keeping it creative. Photoshop is cool and diversity rules!

I rather use creativity, I will use photoshop to certain extent, but I do not want to photoshop the models.

| | What is your favorite fashion era?
I personally liked the 1930s-1950s because all the women dressed with such style, grace, and ladylikeness. None of them looked oversexed, baazar out, sleazy, or hood ratish.

Yeah, I noticed my posts are weird too.
Anyway Real, blouses with the tie in the front are going to be in style for fall. I just received an email from the D&G collection at NM and they had all those blouses. Of course I will not be spending 400 on 1 shirt but I plan to do the look for less at store like F21/Express/Limited. I think they look nice. I'll probably get 1-2.
