I dnt share my resolutions, but the one I will share is to stop texting/emailing while driving...I be having full blown conversations and what not. Not a good look, and I made that one before watching 7 lbs.

I'm with E. I can't share mine.

I agree with the texting thing after seeing 7lbs. That movie was deep, gotta see it again. Kinda emotional too b/c my deceased MIL was an organ donor and we received a letter stating her corneas were used in a transplant to help somebody see.

mine is just something i should have been doing. his mother has been telling me since college i need to stop doing soo much adn let him do it on his own. 11 years later i still haven done it. i feel like since she is 13 she can start doing stuff but i cant just make her do things because then it seems like it a womans job or something

I feel what you're saying, but at the same time there are several approaches to having the 13 yr/old do things without it being related to gender. Its good to hear you think about that way though, because coming up my mother and grandmother tied me learning how to cook to having, getting, and/or keeping a man and that steered me FAR AWAY frm the kitchen. I mean I cook, but nothing special to be real and all the times that I have thought "hmmm maybe I should learn now" its because I think of what they said. I want to get in the kitchen and learn to cook things I like, for ME, because I need to eat. Not for a man. Let them tell it that's why I'm single now...LOL.

But I mean keeping it real on some this is personal things that you should learn how to do once you are on your own and/or away from home to be able to live in a clean environment...etc.

lol ay.. i won't lie...

a girl that can cook gets points... girl had gave me a new feeling when she was like 'no .. sit down.. let me put the dishes away.. you cooked most of that' haha.... she had me thinking like 'whoa' for real

haha..... i need to get back tot aht feeling  I'm def used to being super iNdependent.. since i was a kid... i never want to give people the sense of 'entitlement' and i think it's worked against me in building personal relationships but same time... i can't call it... feels good to not owe nobody

LOL well I mean of course when its all said and done, that's what most men like and I'm not big on generalizations at all, but cooking is one I will make.

My reply to them was always, "Well I guess he won't be eating."
