Mark Ecko Plans For Ecko Clothing Flagship Store in NYC

Urban clothier, Ecko Unlimited, is scheduled to move into the long vacant Times Square Theater to open a megastore in the heart of Manhattan’s 42nd street.
According to The New York Times, Ecko plans to transform the abandoned theater into a four-level, $25 million ’supermarket’ filled with brand name clothing, art, video games, electronics and collectible sneakers.
The store itself will be an addition to the 10 Ecko Flagship locations already established.
Ecko’s store will also includes 50 Cent’s clothing, “G-Unit Clothing Company”. G-Unit Clothing, which is designed partially by the G-Unit memebers, was signed to Ecko in 2003 for production and marketing.
Ecko itself, has been very heavy these past 2 years on the actual hiphop music scene also. You can see designs from Ecko constantly in videos internationally.
Ecko also works with a lot of breaking artists and feature them in the advertisements consumers see in printed media. Artists they have worked with include the names of Dead Prez, Big Gipp of Goodie Mob, Fat Joe, and Talib Kweli.
