Parish Nation Clothing Launched By Enyce Clothings Founders
Enyce clothing Co-founders Evan Davis and Tony Shellman sold Enyce Holding LLC to Liz Claiborne in 2003 for 114 million (USD). Karen Murray, president of men’s wear for Liz Clairborne Inc, was carefully tracking a brand to buy out and found Enyce clothing to be her golden opportunity. The two groups came to a closing and Enyce’s founders moved forward looking for their next fashion opportunity.
After years of fashion industry experience with multiple clothing brands including their own successful Enyce clothing line, Davis and Shellman are back in fashion. The two Hip Hop clothing industry moguls have decided to start Parish Nation clothing, a California streetwear brand.
Parish Nation clothing’s design team promises that the innovative line will see greater success than Enyce. Using memories from the 80s and 90s, a brand representative told Format magazine Parish’s desginers want to tie the New York retro and streetwear scene into their fashion designs.
“Fashion has changed… Shellman and Davis exited slightly before this great wave of change that’s hit the Hip Hop clothing scene and they are revinventing themself. This is good business,” says Rodrick Rainey on the streetwear launch.
The owners of the clothing brand derived its’ name off the fact everyone thought the Enyce team, a community of employees, were thought to have perished from the Hip Hop clothing and streetwear scene. The staff wants to reinvent fashion with this label, making Parish Nation a lifestyle brand that identifies a group of stylish, swagger-having, fun, and creative people.
Featuring bold graphics and color, ParishNation is a colorful 80’s retro-inspired clothing line blended with the life of sunny California beaches. Some designs are low contrast and uniform, while others are high contrast with unfamiliar portrait designs.
Prices for Parish Nation clothing range on Dr Jays On-line from $30 to $90. Savvy on-line shoppers can find discount codes for Dr Jays retail clothing site on SoJones.com’s on-line stores page currently.
