Rocawear Clothing Teams Up For Jewelry Line

Los Angeles, CA – Accessories licensing company Lucas Design International (LDI) has partnered with hip hop moguls Jay Z, Damon Dash, and Kareem Burkes to create Rocawear’s jewelry and accessories collections for the streetwear line.

The new collections will feature a wide array of jewelry, cuff links, key chains and other fashionable accessories, according to a statement from LDI. The primary collection, consisting of lines called Roc, Roc Empress and Elegant, is slated to debut this year (2005) at August’s MAGIC fashion trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“We were looking to target new markets and Rocawearseemed like a perfect fit,” LDI vice president of development Heather Santana said in a release URB1.COM was forwarded. “We’re excited about this diverse new line, especially given Rocawear’s prominent reputation in the fashion apparel market.”

The collaboration will also yield an additional two men’s lines, according to the statement, one focusing on cuff links and the other on “essentials.”
