Jay-Z Giving Away Platinum Keys To 4040 Club

God MC Jay-Z, born name Shawn Carter, recently partnered up with Jacob the Jeweler to spend $750,000 for 500 platinum key invitations to the grand opening of his new 40/40 Club in Atlantic City.

At $1,500 apiece, each key will have a number that is to be placed on a roulette wheel provided by Caesars Hotel & Casino with the winner receiving a brand-new Mercedes Benz TL.

The rapper/entrepreneur splurged $4 million to open up the second location of his high profile sports club. Located at the end of the Atlantic City expressway, the multi-level club is one block away from Caesars Atlantic City.

“I wanted to be part of the building up of Atlantic City,” Mr.Cater said during a recent press conference. Def Jam’s Chief Executive Officer passed on potential Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Miami locations for the thriving business franchise venture, according to resources tapped into by URB1.COM, the Original Hip Hop Fashion website.

The first 40/40 Club was established in New York City’s Midtown Manhattan district on West 25th street. Midtown, the heart of New York City, is traveled by millions daily. A real estate firm accross the street from the 40/40 club, and friendly neighbor of Mr. Carter, said “The 40/40 Club is the perfect lounging and entertainment environment”.

I love sports and wanted to create an environment that is conducive to match my lifestyle, while watching the games at the same time, said Jay Z to URB1 Magazine and others, previously in talks of his New York location. The Atlantic City branch will open its doors on Oct. 18th in a shopping and entertainment district called, “The Walk.” Atlantic City, a coastal New Jersey metropolitan, is well known for its beaches, nightlife, and entertainment venues.
