Celebrity Plastic Surgery Hall of Fame
The pressure in Hollywood and in the media must be tremendous for these actresses and socialites to go to such extremes in changing their face and their body. Expensive, painful and risky, these women have cumulatively spent millions to alter their appearances… and not necessarily for the better. The question is, is this the look they were going for? Or did it all go wrong? Judge for yourself.
Lisa Rinna

Actress Lisa Rinna has been fixated on her lips since her Melrose Place days. Her blown-up upper lip made its comeback twice as big at the 2009 Oscars and got major media spotlight. She admits today that she went too far with the lip injections, but don’t forget her rumored cheek implants, nose job, brow lift and breast enhancements. Was it worth it?
Melanie Griffith

Once crowned ‘The Queen of Plastic Surgery’, Melanie Griffith has almost done it all. She’s been rumored to have had a breast augmentation, liposuction, eyelid surgery, repeated lip augmentation and Botox injections. Mel’s hunky husband, Antonio Banderas, is apparently against all this and have said, “This lust for beauty is a terrible thing. I’ve forbidden her from ever going to a cosmetic surgeon again. It’s something we’ve agreed to for the sake of our marriage. I said to her, ‘I want to see you growing old and I will grow old with you too and I don’t care’. I like her the way she is. Wrinkles are beautiful.” We have to agree with Antonio here!
Phoebe Price

Hollywood’s eternal D-lister Phoebe Price flaunts her ghoulish, almost cartoony cheekbones at almost every red carpet event she’s invited to (or not). Phoebe is said to have had cheek implants, lip augmentation and eye surgeries. All she needs is a black hood to impersonate the Grim Reaper, no mask required.
Paula Abdul

The American Idol Judge / songwriter / singer / celebrity designer started out with great facial features. But what’s with the rhinoplasty? Take a good look at her curiously shrinking nose, and don’t try to tell us it’s makeup shading at work. We see hints of a brow lift and cheek implants as well.
Vivica A. Fox

Just look at the pretty picture on the left, and we won’t need to tell you that this former shorty of 50 Cent’s used to have B cup Breasts. Viv has since undergone what appears to be a breast augmentation that has developed what’s known as a capsular contracture– note the strange double fold in her cleavage. You know that’s not right!
Lil’ Kim

Don’t ask ”What’s fake on Lil’ Kim?”. Ask ”What’s REAL on Lil’ Kim?”. Seriously. This girl had everything done. From breast augmentations, nose jobs, eye procedures, cheek implants, liposuctions and the notorious skin lightening, Lil’ Kim is no stranger to the plastic surgeon’s knife. It’s almost like watching a show. We never know what she’ll do next… and the saddest thing is, we keep on waiting. *sigh*
Liposuction Victims

Ever dreamt to have a bikini-appropriate tummy? Exercise is the only answer. If you opt for liposuction, Lil’ Kim and Tara Reid’s stomach skins look like they were going for a sharpei’s loose skin look. Seriously, girls. Flat stomachs are attractive, but lipo-wrinkles? Not so much.
Joan Rivers

The self-proclaimed plastic surgery lover doesn’t age a bit thanks to the knives of excellent surgeons. Comedian Joan Rivers even guest-starred in the hit drama ”Nip/Tuck” as somebody who’s addicted to plastic surgery. The picture on the left was taken in 1983, and the picture on the right was taken in 2008. Plastic surgery is supposed to turn back time… but in Ms. Rivers’ case, maybe it just stops the clock altogether.
Jocelyn Wildenstein

Jocelyn Wildenstein is a wealthy divorcee socialite who’s famous for her plastic surgery addiction. She is known behind her back as ”The Cat Woman” due to her desire to reproduce a feline look on her facial features. Also known as “The Bride of Wildenstein”, she has allegedly spent up to $3 million on cosmetic surgery over the years. This is in fact a woman who is simply famous for going under the knife. In 2004, she was named the world’s scariest celebrity by a plastic surgery website. We wonder who her surgeon is, because we think his or her license should be revoked.

Whoa, this is more like a hall of shame! As a plastic surgeon, let me provide a few points of enlightenment: While we can all agree that overdone is overdone, the conclusion that "exercise is the only answer" to a bikini-ready tummy is only half right. Liposuction and tummy tucks are not a substitute for diet and exercise but no amount of working out can tighten skin that has been stretched out from pregnancy or prior weight gain. Another thing we can agree on is that being a celebrity doesn't guarantee that you will get the best work done.
