Let’s get in the way back machine. Back in the day, when it was normal to look like this:

You knew the local ice cream man by name. You had candyhouses, Nickelodeon classics (Rugrats, Clarissa explains it all, Doug, and the list goes on), Pogs, Squeeze-it’s, Sega Genesis, actually having to wait for an album’s release date to get it. Times were hard for some, and times are still hard. We’ve seen rappers fall off the face of the earth and others in careers that you’d never suspect they’d get into.

Speaking of, remember rappers Kid N’ Play and their movie blockbuster serials ”House Party”?

Good times, huh? So guess what Christopher “Kid” Reid is up to now:

Selling suits! I must say, he looks like a life insurance agent from a poorly scripted MadTV skit. My only question is, is that a joke? Is he for real? I’m not hating… in fact, I salute Chris for doing what he gotta do to make it. Still, I didn’t know the recession was this bad! Ever wondered why some celebrity figures like Scott Storch, MC Hammer, and countless others get broke and stay broke? Me too.

Reader, if you were one of the hottest acts in the 90’s, then ended up selling suits over a decade later, would you be happy? You’d probably want to write for SoJones, huh? ;)
