Publicist: Whitney Houston is NOT Broke
Earlier this week, gossip sites around the internet broke the news that Whitney Houston is “broke as a joke”. In fact, she was reportedly so broke that she has to beg for $100 from her friends.
It’s also said in previous reports that she is currently living off ‘music industry heavy hitters’ hands, and that she ‘might be homeless if not for people saving her’.
Whitney’s representative denied the rumors via CNN, that all the rumors about the pop icon being flat broke is false, because she just received her paycheck from her upcoming movie with Jordin Sparks. The spokesperson claimed:
“It’s totally false and ridiculous. She just made a movie with Jordin Sparks – ‘Sparkle’. People get paid to make movies. She’s not broke.”
Looking at the singer’s past and her drug problems, it’s easy to believe the broke rumors. Which story do you believe? Discuss!

why is it easy to believe? I think it’s not easy to believe because she dropped a cd in 2009 I look to you that was a major success. it went platinum here and sold 2.5mil WW.
She toured in 2010 and despite the not so good reviews, that tour grossed $40mil
She’s producing and starring in Sparkle. Why won’t somebody ask for receipts, has she filed bankruptcy like toni bracton, has creditors come after her, are her homes facing foreclosures? has uncle sam filed tax liens on her
I haven’t heard of any of that so no, i dont believe this story.
