Eminem’s “Recovery” Album Goes Platinum For The 4th Time!

A congratulations is in order for rapper Eminem, as his “Recovery” album was officially certified four-times platinum on February 2nd, 2012. The Grammy Award-winning album, which was executive produced by Eminem, Dr. Dre and Paul Rosenberg consists of hit makers “Not Afraid”, “Love The Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna and “No Love” featuring Lil Wayne.
The tracks spoke not only to those with hip-hop frame of mind, but also played a crossover part in the urban and pop radio across 2010 and 2011. The album was produced in June 2010 and managed to sold over 750,000 copies in its first week of launch.
A follow-up album, “Hell: The Sequel” was released by Eminem in 2011, as a collaborative album between himself and Royce Da 5’9″. Will 2012 be a downtime for Eminem? Nope, he’s currently doing finishing touches on the upcoming Slaughterhouse album due to drop this May and also his own ninth studio album, which is still nameless at press time.
