Do Some Good In Style: Vernon Davis X Akomplice Clothing

It’s always heartwarming to hear people doing good for others. NFL tight end Vernon Davis of the San Francisco 49ers teamed up with Akomplice Clothing to produce two limited edition t-shirts which proceeds from the sales will benefit children in the U.S. and Africa.
Patrick Liberty, Co-Founder of Akomplice Clothing stated:
“Teaming with NFL star and playmaker Vernon Davis and a philanthropic titan like The Starkey Hearing Foundation, who have graciously offered to deliver the T-shirts, is a perfect way to leverage our brand with theirs to make a positive impact on the lives of children who need our help.”

The t-shirts feature stylized photographic images of Vernon Davis shot by award-winning photographer Tim Mantoani. If you purchase the white t-shirt, 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Young Audiences Arts for Learning. It’s the largest single arts education organization in the U.S., aimed to benefit children from low-income families by exposing them to the arts to then improve their academic performance and community involvement. The purchase of a black t-shirt provides a free t-shirt for a child in Africa to be distributed by Starkey Hearing Foundation during an upcoming 2012 mission trip. The foundation has been giving the gift of hearing to more than half a million people around the world.
You’ll only have to shell out $30 for each t-shirt and they’re available online at the Akomplice Webstore as well as stores around the country.
