Dr. Dre Launches New Headphone Line With Lady Gaga

There’s no better way to listen to music than to hear it the way the musicians do.  To do so, meet hip hop producer Dr. Dre and his line of headphones: Beats by Dr. Dre. The headphone line launched earlier this year, has been a huge hit among music lovers and fashion-conscious crowd. Dr. Dre partnered up with Monster Cable in launching the popular headphones, and now apparently is growing his collaboration by tapping pop singer, Lady Gaga, into the biz.

Lady Gaga with Monster and Dre have developed a new line of headphones called Heartbeats, which feature triangular shapes on the outside. Lady Gaga expressed her delight about the Heartbeats headphones:

“In the deepest hour of the night, I confess to myself three things: I would die if I was forbidden to write, forbidden to love, or forbidden to fashion. Heartbeats embody the trinity of my human being, with one additional vow: that sound matters. Wear Heartbeats, love each other, and celebrate the art and lifestyle of music.”

The Lady Gaga Heartbeats headphone will retail from $99 to $149, and will be available this October. There will be 3 colorways available: white, black or red.

Aside from his collabo with Lady Gaga, Dr. Dre also announced that he will release an entry-level version of the Beats By Dr. Dre headphones, which will be called Beats Solo. Jimmy Iovine, Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M stated:

“For Beats Solo, Dre and I worked along with Monster to create the best sound possible in light, comfortable but powerful headphones.”

Beats Solo will retail between $179 and $219 and they will be available in November.  Check out Amazon.com for full collection.

Meanwhile, Dr. Dre’s previous releases of Beats By Dre headphones are still the hottest thing among Hollywood’s A-Listers.
