Fergie To Launch Signature Perfume
Another famous face who’ll be joining the celebrity perfume bandwagon is Stacy Ferguson, better known as Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. This won’t be Fergie’s first tap into the beauty biz. In 2008, she partnered with MAC Cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign to raise money and awareness for the MAC AIDS fund. Having a deal with a purpose is apparently very important to the songstress. As she stated to WWD:
“I love the roster of women Avon has supported. Each one is completely different, but they are all wonderful, strong women who have a purpose. It was very important to me to bring what I have to the table. I’m a bit more rock ’n’ roll than some of the other artists, and Avon has really allowed my personality to come through.”
Fergie and Avon are being rather mysterious as the composition and name of debut fragrance are being finalized. However, she hinted the soul of the fragrance will be fresh and alluring.
“The vibe for the scent is for the woman who wears it to feel confident and not be afraid to be noticed.”
Seems like Avon has made the right choice to represent their new fragrance. Fergie just completed her tour with Black Eyed Peas and is getting ready for her new film, titled “Nine” where she will appear with Hollywood’s A-list actresses such as Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Sophia Loren and Kate Hudson. She’s also busy promoting her shoe line with Brown Shoe Co. which was launched in early 2009. On the music front, Fergie is collaborating on two tracks with Slash, former Guns n’ Roses guitarist, giving her rock ‘n’ roll side a workout. Says Fergilicious:
“I’m (also) working with Cypress Hill on one of the songs, and working with these people gives me a chance to explore another side of me, more rock ’n’ roll.”
Fergie’s perfume is scheduled to come out this fall. Do we think it will be a “Boom Boom Pow”?

I think Fergie has a hot sound to her and a lot of heart goes into the way she belts out the tunes. Her perfume should be pretty darn good if she puts as much effort into that as well.
