The Big Faces Clothing Co Launches Flagship Store

In 2003, Enrico S. Moses created his dream of a successful abstract collection of t-shirts that embodied Hip Hop culture through recognizable designs and patterns. He titled his portrait-like work “The Big Faces Collection.” By 2004, his line was in full print and being circulated through Minneapolis, MN, as one of, if not the hottest Hip Hop fashion item available in stores.

“I came up with the concept, then a friend and I put together some designs. I started playing with them and came up with the concept of the simple 1 color artwork we use today,” said Moses to SoJones.com.

Traveling around the country to different places in 2005, Moses now hopes to goto New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago to promote “Big Faces.” Already reviewing some of the cities dressing styles and keeping records of trends through SoJones.com, he also wants to make his clothing well known in Las Vegas, NV where heavy public interests were found while attending the Magic Fashion Convention.

Currently in Minneapolis, the most literate city in the US, the “Big Faces” name is being seen and read by all. Moses opened a Big Faces’ flagship store March 11th in his home city at the Brookdale shopping mall.

When asked by SoJones editor what does he accredit his success to thus far, Moses simply said “Grinding and never giving up!.”

Since opening his store, even renovations taking place could not stop loyal customers from shopping and celebrities from popping in. “Dave Chappelle purchased a -Victory- shirt, J-Kwon grabbed a -Bob Marley- shirt, and Lil Wayne got our -Weezy Baby- shirt somehow,” said Moses in response to a question on what celebrities have been wearing his products.

Retailing womens tees for $14.99 and Mens for $19.99, Moses has a moderate price set for his highly demanded work. Big Faces has found him success through Hip Hop culture, which he has lived and inhaled since its beginning.

The Big Faces store will be completed April 15, including a 42-inch Hi-Definition Plasma viewing screen, dj booth, and sound systemn to entertain guests inside the hyped clothing display. The Big Faces’ flagship store will also be retailing SoJones Magazine’s first 5 issues, becoming the 2nd store to retail the magazine since its limiting to retail involvement.

Big Faces and SoJones Publications (formerly URB1) collaborated on giveaways before that brought the Big Face name into XXL Magazine. Advertisements for SoJones gave the name prominent placement which encouraged search for the Big Faces collection on the Urban and Hip Hop Fashion site and forum.
