Air Wear NYC Opens Fashion Showroom In Brooklyn NYC

Brooklyn, NYC airbrush clothing producer, Air Wear NYC has finally went into mass production. Closing it’s old store in the crown Heights section of Brooklyn, the clothing line’s demand caused it to need more product and a bigger showroom space. Opening it’s new location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the company had an invite-only grand opening, lounge event, for supporters, buyers, and celebrities.
SoJones.com was invited to the summer release showcasing to review and photograph what was new. Known to most by his short-name “Al”, the owner of Air Wear NYC has been a big fan of SoJones.com. His generous attitude made him extend and invitation to the CEO of SoJones, Rodrick Rainey, and those affiliated with the internet’s Original Hip Hop fashions focused website (SoJones.com).
Air Wear NYC is known for being the top producer of airbrushed, portrait fashions in the Hip Hop community. One of its most popular tribute works, a portrait of the R&B princess, Aaliyah, was one of the first shirts to be uncovered at the event. Improving on the facial structuring in the actual portrait of the princess of R&B, Al wants to be a perfectionist of his craft.
A lot of store buyers and Hip Hop enthusiasts were asking for a collborated portrait of Tupac & Biggie. Air Wear NYC unveiled a new shirt to cater to the demand. Half of each artist’s face was used to create a joint facial protrait. “Air Wear NYC not only applied the artists shirt perfectly but the design was made perfect through the addition of rhine stones to give a life-like animation to the shirt. The artists’ eyes and jewelry glittered, almost making those viewing Air Wear NYC’s shirts reminisce on the artists’ live moments on television,” said Rod Rainey on the hip hop superstars shirt.
Kan’Ye West, who recieved a Tupac t-shirt from Air Wear NYC’s representatives at the Magic Show in Las Vegas during a show, was also honored at the showcasing with his own Air Wear shirt. As a tribute to Kanye’s success and triumphs, it is almost guaranteed to end up being worn by Kanye in some kind of public viewing..
Wearing button down shirts, which is a newly emerging trend in the Hip Hop fashion world, also influenced Air Wear NYC to airbrush a portrait on black button ups.
One of the button-down designs seen sitting on top of the inside office structuring was a Michael Jordan button down, with him flashing his collection of NBA championship rings. Next to it is a button down of Brooklyn born and raised rapper, Notorious BIG. Founder of Air Wear NYC, ‘Al’, while showing guests the new portraits and clothing types, wore a button down of Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. The design on the shirt was a black friday tribute to the Rocafella artist’s retirement.
New features on all of the shirts included the coloring of the jewelry designs and rhine stone placement where extra bling effect was needed to animate the portrait.
All work was high quality and hand created, leaving AIr Wear NYC’s products dry clean only.
