LL Cool J To Release Todd Smith Clothing Collection For Hiphop Fashion World

LL Cool J is going to be releasing his clothing line “Todd Smith” to select stores soon.
Todd Smith clothing, which is completely owned by LL, has been a long running curiosity of his fans across the world. LL Cool J, born Todd Smith, finally certified his clothing line would be happening through national broadcasting company MSNBC earlier this month, on August 6th. LL Cool J told the company that “I do have my own clothing line, James Todd Smith. I am in the process of looking over three or four different distribution deals, and I will be putting that out soon. I’m sitting here talking to you with a James Todd Smith shirt on.”
AllHipHop.com reported that Todd Smith clothing is supposed to be LL’s way of giving jobs back to the community. Every time I go around I hear yo I need a job. They will have to be qualified for it but at least I can provide jobs, even if it is two jobs, that is better then no jobs. LL said.
Other resources told urb1 previously that Todd Smith clothing would be an original, upscale, and exclusive. Also, resources told the Todd Smith clothing line would be heavily limiting the stores that are able to retail the line.
Composed of a wide array of styles such as button ups, suits, t-shirts, and jeans, it’s obvious LL is targeting the “grown and sexy” trend followers.

In the video “HeadSprung”, which was most recently released by LL, he is easily seen wearing his clothing line “Todd Smith” and pointing to the label name, in what is a self-promotion scheme many artists have been doing for the past 3 years.
It is going to be hot and people are gonna want to be involved in it, LL said confidently. So we pick the retailer that we feel right about it being at, so that we can keep stimulating that growth.
The Todd Smith clothing group, along with owner LL Cool J, are expected to show pieces from the clothing line at the upcoming Magic Fashion Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The “Magic”, which is from August 30th until September 2nd, is deemed by many as the top urban fashion convention in the United Sates. With over 3000 brands in the convention center during the event, entrance is blocked from the general public, but if you can get in, it’s well worth it.
