Rocawear Signs Deal With Warner Bros

RocawearClothing and Warner Bros. Consumer Products are partnering to create a signature apparel collection with the imagery and myth of Batman. The line, which will hit stores in conjunction with Warner Bros. Pictures’ Summer 2005 theatrical release of Batman Begins.

The Batman Begins-inspired collection by Rocawearwill feature three distinct looks. The “Urban Legends,” features jackets, wovens, pants and jeans with a distinctly “old school” feel. The “Gotham City” leans towards darker hues that incorporate more gray and black with pops of royal blue. Lastly the “I Am,” is inspired by the look and feel of the industrial landscape portrayed in Batman Begins. It features jackets, hoodies, tees and button downs and adds iconography, as well as graphics centered on the theme “I Am Batman.”

By partnering with Rocawear, we combine the super heroic style of Batman with Rocawear’s street style to create a fashion-forward statement that sets the latest trend in apparel,” Dan Romanelli, president of Warner Bros. The Batman Begins infusion by Rocawearis scheduled for deliveries in May, June and July of 2005 and will be sold at better department and specialty stores.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products will display the Batmobile from Batman Begins next to the Rocawearbooth at the Magic tradeshow, taking place August 30 to September 2 in Las Vegas.
