Reebok Scarter Signs Hiphop Artist TI To Endorse Shoe

It looks like rapper Jay-Z has had his keen business senses turned south by the sudden growth and interest in Atlanta Metropolitan Rap music. The Hip Hop artist who released his S.Dot Carter tennis shoe under the Reebok label has constantly made moves to get other celebrities to endorse his products, but never before has it been an urban celebrity from the Southeast. Jigga, best known as Jay Z, changed his business blueprint to include the south however, as he has found a rising Hip hop artist acceptable by his standards.

TI, formerly known on the Atlanta Rap scene as T.I.P., first had rumors surface that he was signing to Reebok under the S.Carter label to design his own shoe. However, the truth of the matter is TI will be a model for the S.Carter shoe of his choice.

This puts an end to countless questions about why TI was wearing a Reasonable Doubt t-shirt and S.Dot Carters in his latest video. “Bring ‘Em Out”, which has taken prominent positions on music video countdowns and music rating charts, also features the sampled voice of his newly found employer, Jay Hova.

T.I. will start premiering in upcoming Reebok S.Carter advertisements featured in Complex, Ozone, The Source, XXL (Jan./Feb. issue), Slam (Feb. issue), Felon (issue #10), and Murder Dog (issue #5) magazines.

In addition to the advertisements, T.I. will be making an in-store appearance at Foot Locker in the Greenbrier Mall in Atlanta, Georgia on December 14th to promote his new S.Carter footwear collection.

T.I. joins basketball stars Kenyon Martin and Jamal Crawford as endorsers of the S.Carter collection. Other celebrities who previously engaged in business with the S.Carter brand include Queen Latifah, Tyra Banks, Beyonce from Destiny’s Child, Joy Bryant, and Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. Those celebrities all designed a custom S.Carter shoe that was auctioned off on E-bay for charity, previously in 2004.
