New Era Collection A New Series Of Hats

New Era Cap Co., Inc., the premier, global headwear designer, developer and manufacturer, will present the debut line for its new property, EK by New Era, and its Fall 2005 59FIFTY, Lifestyle, Womens and Childrens headwear lines at MAGIC in Las Vegas, NV, February 14 17, 2005.

In a return to New Eras roots in fashion hats, the company extends its brand with EK by New Era, a property that will bring New Era full circle as a headwear company. The debut line will present 12 fashion hat silhouettes including Gatsby, Newsboy and Military styles, tilizing cashmeres, wools and cottons. EK by New Era was created to honor New Eras founder Ehrhardt Koch and is inspired by the Gatsby, the style of cap New Era made in its founding years (1920s-1930s); the brand takes from the past, while affecting the future of fashion headwear. EK by New Era will be offered in Black Label and Magenta Label, mid and premium-tier pricing, respectfully.

New Eras commitment to headwear continues to evolve, said New Eras Vice President of Strategic Business Gerry Matos. The stories New Era presents for Fall 05 are endless from the launch of EK by New Era to our childrens line; the exciting product lines will speak to directly to tried and true New Era fans, while creating new supporters of the brand.

At MAGIC the New Era 59FIFTY will be highlighted with a rollout of show specials in the upcoming seasons hottest summer fabrics in multiple color-ways. For the fall New Era will present its successful MLB and NBA 59FIFTY All-Overs, in new colors, in addition to other 59FIFTY fitted styles in neutral fall colors and fabrics.

After the successful introduction of its Lifestyle product in the winter, New Era returns to MAGIC with Lifestyle headwear that satisfies the needs of the youth market by focusing on fashion, fabric, color, pattern, and style. Cap styles for New Eras Lifestyle product will include 59FIFTYs, A-Flex and adjustables.

New Era continues to expand its presence in the Womens and Childrens segments with a return to MAGIC with a full showing for both lines. New Era has focused on fitting the style and needs of its female consumer, offering headwear styles, fabrics and colors that speak to their fashion sensibilities.
