Jacob was found by hiphop when Faith Evans, wife of the Notorious BIG at the time, was shopping for jewelry to wear for her upcoming album cover, photo shoot. Both were impressed so much by the jewelry they had stumbled upon that they passed it to different artists they knew, making Jacob in demand by hiphop artists nationwide.

After years of catering to hiphop artists, Jacob The Jeweler has finally made his appearance online. After a long standing domain name of JacobTheJeweler.com being registered with no site uploaded to it, the final decision of to lauch was finally made in May of 2004.

After years of publicity from working with hiphop artists such as Baby of Cash Money, Jay Z, Juvenile, Nas, and Usher it was only a matter of time before Jacob Arabo started working with the public through the only outlet that can reach every person in the world. And while the site doesn’t feature a high percentage of what he can offer, it does feature some of celebrity’s custom designed pieces.

After SoJones reviewed the website, one major error was found. Jacob has been rumored to retail jewels at a value that was way beyond their actual worth. While looking at the jewelry and their description on Jacob’s site, this could easily be possible.

Any luxury jeweler should have diamond gradings based on clarity and colour! These gradings would tell the truth on what your jewelry is valued at, as a diamond with too much colour or with too many flaws is worth nowhere near the prices being charged by Jacob. Therefore, anyone who’s buying should surpass the ignorance level a lot are seemingly being blinded by.

All people interested in diamonds should first review international diamond sites such as the Diamond High Council or at least take a look at the available diamond grading charts online. It could very well save you from buying a POS that is being hyped up to be a $10,000 bracelet.
