Usher To Release Very Upscale Clothing And Other Fashions Line

Singer Usher is expanding his business by launching his own upscale fashion collection.

The line be styled on the formal design concepts of Eurpean runway designers such as Prada, Gucci, and Roberto Cavalli.

“You know what, to be perfectly honest with you, I’m really a suit man, if it’s not Prada, it’s Gucci, Roberto Cavalli. I’m really into Italian designers as well as American designers, as a matter of fact I’m heading in that direction,” Femalefirst quoted him as saying.

Usher does not have a fixed date for the release of the line but has confirmed it will be out by 2006. Currently, the young sensation is on his way to reaching a personal goal to recreate an empire similiar to that of Russell Simmons and Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs.

According to the report, the R&B star said,”So any event, when I do start a line, which I am going to start it. I don’t have a date, but 2006 I’ll have it out.”

“Look at the capabilities of Martha Stewart or Russell Simmons or Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs or even 50 CENT with G-UNIT. Look at what they did with their licensing.This is my opportunity to do the same. Clothing and shoes are kind of the standard nowadays, so I’m trying to figure out how I can come at it from a different angle. Watches, clothes, perfume, cologne, facial and acne products. There are so many possibilities,” Usher added.

As Usher’s clothing collection was earlier reported by URB1.COM as a rumor, the line is still expected to reflect the young, fashionable, artist’s style in many of the designs. Tailor fitted blazers, button ups, and flamboyant denim jeans are forecasted to be a part of Usher’s line.

Eventhough there were no comments about a female’s line, it is expected to be created within the “by 2006″ time frame.
