Le Tigre Warms Up To Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods’ much-talked about affair, although increased the pro golfer’s popularity immensely in the past month, also cost sponsors up to $12 billion in lost wealth. Woods’ ‘indefinite leave’ from the world of golf has also raised many public speculations about his career, not to mention being the laughing stock and stand-up materials for late-night show hosts.
However, clothing brand, Le Tigre, took advantage of the situation as it warms up to Tiger Woods with a new campaign. WWD reports that the Le Tigre campaign was launched last Wednesday, December 23, 2009 with this billboard:
