NEW YORK - P. Diddy is looking to give women a fashion makeover.
The hip-hop mogul, who already has his successful Sean John clothing line for men, told The
Associated Press he is working on a women's line that will make its debut in October.
"It will be reflective of a contemporary lifestyle label that will reflect the diversity of the
lifestyle of a young woman," he said in a recent interview.
"She'll have something to wear to work, to go out and in the evening and party with her
friends, she'll have a pretty dress to go out on a date with, even laid-back and more sporty
things."
P. Diddy says his inspiration for the line comes from what is able to turn his head: "Enough
class, but enough flair and flavor to be able to turn me on."
If you watched Black Enteratainment Television's (BET) Rip The Runway fashion broadcast on
March 24th, you should have caught a glimpse of the women's Sean John line. They look is
very classy but not over done, giving women's more fashionable stand outs something new for
the closet.
Diddy's Sean John clothing is progressing rapidly as a label itself, as he's arranged new
executive members to his team throughout the past year. Those members are high profile
designers and officers which are hoped to keep Sean John on the edge of fashion, leading the
label into the world of high fashion.
