Lil Flip Wants In Hiphop Fashion

Brought into a major hiphop spotlight through his 1st hit, “This is the Way We Ball”, Lil’ Flip has truly filled in the huge void Scarface left for Texas hiphop.

Topping video charts as well as highly ranking on the billboard’s hiphop singles chart, 2004 has been even more success for Lil’ Flip with the release of his latest single “Game Over”. Off the strength of that power single, Flip’s album debuted at number one on the charts.

While a lot just listen to his music and don’t notice his trend setting capabilities, people are having to rethink how Lil’ Flip has effected the dress of urban culture across America. One of the main causes of the streets going wild with burberry design-like car paint jobs, interiors, and matching clothing, he has truly set off many trend explosions in the past two summers.

However, even with Flip’s trendsetting past, it is quite odd that in his latest video “Game Over”, Flip wears a shirt that seems to be biting the style of Air Wear NYC. But you can’t hate Flip for that as some inside sources told Urb1, that the shirt was provided by his personal stylist. Fashion heads went crazy everywhere thinking it was another hot creation by Air Wear NYC but found it to only be an air brush artist feeding of Air Wear’s Unique technique.

Thinking past that however, the headliner of this story is of a totally different nature. Lil Flip has announced he wants to start a shoe company or have his own shoe designed under a major shoe label. On top of that, the Houston, Texas rap phenom wants to release a clothing line. Expected to feature the signature symbol Flip always displays, the clover, Urb1 has the feeling it will be the first explosive clothing line to have a theme of the color green.
