Pro Bowl Quarterback Donovan McNabb Launches Super Fives Clothing Line

Five-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb hosted a fashion show Tuesday to launch his own line of casual men’s clothing through Reebok entitled “Super Five.”
“This is very near and dear to me,” the Philadelphia Eagle told AP at the event, held in Philly at the RBK Concept Store on South Street. “I took a lot of pride in the design, the comfort level and the look.”
The “Super Five” line ranges from T-shirts and fleeces to knit sweaters and vests. Sizes go up to 5XL.
“I’ve always wanted clothing that was casual and comfortable, but had a more refined look and feel,” McNabb said.
The athlete, who grew up in Chicago during the 1980s, looked to his idol Michael Jordan of his hometown Bulls as an inspiration for the clothing line. He said he treasured his first pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers like “they were gold.”
“His name is way bigger than mine and the things he’s been able to accomplish, those are the things I want to accomplish when it comes to sports and off the field as well,” McNabb said.
More information on the Donovan McNabb “Super Fives” clothing collection is expected to appear on the coming ‘SoJones Fashions Blog.’ If not on the fashions’ blog of SoJones.com, which launches the beginning of December, more info will be found at forum.Sojones.com.
A veteran forum member, and finder of McNabb’s clothing line info, Bobby Hare plans to find more information on the clothing line and post it in the forums. Hare will also post the information he finds on his new Art, Games, and Music blog; HustleSeason.com.
