Sneakercut Shoe Club Announces Holiday Sales Plan

“Thanks for handling the refund and I’m definitely going to check out the sale,” was the exiting comments in a voice call between SneakerCut.com’s CEO and club member Uri Loveless. Those comments were definitely sincere.

Thanksgiving for Sneaker Heads across the United States and internationally, may have a new meaning. A holiday period where most stores start their best sales, it is not known for in-demand sneakers falling into the group on sale. However, SneakerCut.com has plans to change this practice.

“Nike, Bathing Ape, Reebok, and adidas products being on sale a lot of times is unheard of. SneakerCut.com, we are going to take a loss to show the genuine appreciation we have for our customers. They have really stuck with us through this somewhat rough first year and we know that. So here at Sneaker Cut, we’re slashing prices up to 40%,” says CEO of the Sneaker Cut Shoe Club, Rodrick Rainey, daring other Sneaker sites to follow.

Starting Sunday, November 12th, SneakerCut.com will introduce a marking down of prices that will continue for 6 business days. The sneaker club’s holiday sale will end the Friday, November 17th, and expectations of a sell out are high.

Originally expecting to discount Sneaker Cut members based upon the membership they purchased, the club’s CEO says an additional sale will take place for Collector’s Membership holders before Christmas.

“Uri’s a good friend I actually met through the club. I have conversations with different members as we are all Sneaker Heads in the executive portion of Sneaker Cut. Loveless, he’s a rapper who’s making some noise in certain regions right now and getting shows, so his image must be sharp. We keep their feet fresh with what we can and they buy it up. We have athletes, musicians, and business owners that buy through us now,” says Rainey of the club’s members.

Opening in early 2006, Sneaker Cut was the first footwear business trying to make a practice of keeping the prices of highly demanded, exclusive sneakers at their store retail price. Focusing mainly on Nike and Jordan brand footwear products, some of those brand shoes the club has acquired for members can not even be found in the United States.

Currently the SneakerCut.com club has over 120 active members. An additional group of subscription holders to the club are also active. The company reports since adding a $24.99 monthly subscription option, an increase in daily traffic has occurred.

Plans to expand the club are in the works with a possible ownership division being made for product growth.

The company also leaked that some of the club’s members are celebrity status athletes, which may require more complicated shopping in the near future. Not within the original business plans, the club is planning to meet this need by creating a new “ARMS” (All Releases My Size) membership card.

The yet priced, ARMS membership subscription is gauranteed to be pricey. However, along with the demanding price will come demanded product. ARMS membership holders will also get a membership ‘credit card’ that identifies their privileged status in the Sneaker Cut shoe club.
