PZI Jeans In Full Support Of Mary Mary Tour

The curvy woman’s choice of jeans, PZI Jeans is in full-forced collaboration with a two-time Grammy award winning American gospel music duo, Mary Mary. The duo’s “The Sound” album was released last year, and Mary Mary have been honored with the 2009 NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Gospel Artist” and Grammys for “Best Gospel Performance,” among other awards. The group which consists of Tina and Erica Campbell have been forging a relationship with PZI Jeans since fall 2008, as PZI Jeans is committed to embracing women with curves, while Mary Mary are dedicated to uplifting women. The collaboration resulted in a delighting event for both Mary Mary fans and PZI Jeans fanatics: “The Mary Mary Live Tour presented by PZI Jeans”.

In her official statement, Tina Campbell said:

“In an era when everybody gets nipped and tucked to look like somebody else, we’re just telling people, ‘Be you, be intentional, honest and the unique person God made you to be.”

Erika Campbell also has positive thoughts about the duo’s collaboration with the renowned Atlanta-based PZI Jeans. During an inverview with Shelley Boozer at the 2009 NAACP Image Awards Nominee Luncheon back in February, she describes PZI as a comfortable fashion item and suitable for curvy women.

“The PZI Jeans are great because they fit your hips, but they definitely fit your waist. We have healthy thighs so sometimes it (jeans) will fit my thighs but not my waist. These pants fit your waist, they don’t sag, so when you sit down you’re exposing things. But they are really stylish. They are really fun, cute and sexy and COMFORTABLE! So now there is gong to be a PZI by Mary Mary.”

PZI Jeans are available in sizes 4-16 with short, regular, long and extra-long lengths/inseams so that women short and tall can buy her jeans off the rack with no more costly alterations. As for availability, PZI Jeans can be found at select Macy’s Stores and over 600 retail stores in the United States and overseas with plans to expand into South America.

Aside from their Grammy Awards and NAACP Image Award, the gospel music duo has also been nominated for Dove Awards for “Group of The Year”, “Urban Recorded Song” and “Contemporary Gospel Album”.
