Real Housewives Star Sheree Whitfield To Launch She By Sheree Clothing Line

When it comes to style, Sheree Whitfield’s style has dazzled men and been envied by women since it landed in Hollywood.

“Fashion has been a passion of mine,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told the Daily News. Whitfield also noted that she once opened up a boutique, which she hoped to help launch her own clothing line.

The store has since shuttered, but now this reality TV star’s hard at work making her dream a reality. These days Whitefield is “100 percent” devoted to developing her debut fashion line, She by Sheree.

“It’s for today’s modern woman,” she says. “The pieces will be classic, sexy [and] look feminine and with a strong emphasis on dresses.”

Loving couture as much as the next lady or more, Whitfield plans to keep her clothing at a “reasonable, affordable price.” Not a usual part of launching a couture clothing line, but she says she will focus on keeping retail prices reasonable.

Whitfield unveiled several of her designs on the hit Bravo TV show, which chronicled the progress of her line. The show even aired a segment that showed some of her less favorable designs, which were probably scrapped by the Atlanta TV star..

She By Sheree, which is inspired by the women in her family, is still a work in progress. Whitfield has no immediate plans to produce the collection in mass numbers. However, she may speed up production with her new-found time available able to be used for her clothing line.

Despite its infancy, She by Sheree has already attracted plenty of attention from “Housewives” fans who are impatiently awaiting its launch. Whitfield and She by Sheree were among the top 10 most Googled items last week after the show’s second-to-last episode. “I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback,” says the television show star.

Look for the She by Sheree clothing line in upscale boutiques across the country by fall 2009.
