Missy Gets An Adidas Clothing Line

Hip-Hop artist Missy Elliot has joined up with Adidas, an athletic shoe and sportswear company, to launch her new clothing line “Respect Me”.
Sources told Urb1 that after the joint venture was certified by both parties, Missy held a party Sunday, August 29th, to celebrate her new clothing line and upcoming album.
The partnership with Adidas is the first the company has made with a non-sports related celebrity since the 1980s. The clothing, which will be placed selectively in an estimated 500 stores across the country, will hit stores for shoppers to buy in the next few weeks.
A percentage of sales from the range will go towards “Break The Cycle”, a youth organization aiming to crack down on the domestic violence. Missy chose this organization previous to her signing with Adidas as she was already nominated spokeswoman for the group.

At the party Missy Elliot had in New York City in celebration of her current and future projects, many celebrities showed their faces. Amongst the crowd at Missy’s cabana was Queen Latifah, Paris Hilton, and Diana Ross.
In other current news related to Missy, many are still in shock about her light bulb jewel, which actually lights up. The many multi-thousand dollar piece is something no other artist’s jewelry collection has touched near. This comes just weeks after Missy’s mother pleads with Missy to do something about her car buying addiction.
