Assassin King T-Shirt, worth $35
Imagine if all of the world’s assassins came together for one big competition, one of them would be the best, right? The fiercest, the most cunning, the most intelligent. One of them, in the end, would stand victorious. And as he looked about his surroundings, with his peers at his feet, from his eye would drop two tears and from his mouth, a deafening roar. The victorious cry of an Assassin King!

Flight T-Shirt, worth $25
Fly without wings? We’ll make sure you stay fly either way. They say when an angel accomplishes a certain amount of good deeds he earns his wings. This is the one you’ve worked for. Here, you deserve these.
Starting off as the people behind the coveted exclusive jerseys for the nation’s biggest sports team and colleges, Jermaine Jenkins and Andre B. Wilson are now taking their creative knacks to new levels. Exploring the deeper world of urban streetwear, Jermaine and Andre came up with JWORK LIMITED, a brand they like to exemplify with Kid Cudi. Curious? SoJones.com talked to Jermaine Jenkins who dishes everything about his clothing line.
Introduce yourself and describe how your brand was started?
My name is Jermaine Jenkins, I’m CEO and Chief Creative Officer of JWORK LIMITED! A lot of people don’t know this but, JWORK LIMITED started off by designing exclusive jerseys (NBA, NFL, Baseball, and college jerseys) with my partner Andre B Wilson COO of JWORK LIMITED, that we sold on EBay and Blackplanet. The line has since then grown into something out of this world.
Describe this season and next season’s looks. Include any sources of inspiration
Season 2 is coming from more of the artistic side of my mind. JWORK LIMITED is working hard on Vintage lettermen jackets, War World 2 jackets, bombers jackets, and 5-star general sweaters. Also there is a Limited edition Levi 501 jeans very rare and Exclusive look, and before you ask “No we aren’t working with Levi on this” yet! My inspiration has come from watching a lot of movies, old school, horror, and action movies like Blade Runner (classic movie). Watching a lot of anime with my son, and listening to a lot of different music. Also I went to check out Jay-Z, Wale, and Pharrell when they were in Columbus, Ohio. (what more do I need?)
What celeb or well-known figure(s) exemplify the brand?
We think there is a lot of people that could represent JWORK LIMITED! You have Kanye West and Pharrell Williams who both started this fashion style that everyone else is following. But the best person to represent JWORK would have to be KID CUDI! Hands down! JWORK LIMITED, like KID CUDI, came out of nowhere and we are going places fast!

Keri Hilson loves JWORK LIMITED too!
Any product placements on celebs, in movies or videos to keep an eye out for?
Well, DJ Prostyles rocked the JWORK threads on 106&Park, we got clothes also to Terrance J and Roci from the show! We have given shirts to Puffy when he was in Columbus, Kid Cudi when we were in San Diego, Nelly, and Method Man, Megan Good, Kerri Hilson, the list goes on… and also we are sending shirts to Cory Gunz! And there are a lot more people that we are getting into the JWORK LIMITED threads as we speak!
Any expansion plans?
JWORK LIMITED has plans in the future to make major steps towards other cities in Ohio. First Cleveland, then Sin City (Cincinnati), and Akron so that our state can get more love as a whole…..then we are looking to make moves in Miami, New York, Philly, West Coast and then the biggest step is overseas!!!
Looking ahead over the next year or two, what themes/looks/styles do you see your brand gravitating to?
Well we don’t want to be in any lane, see we want to be fashion moguls, making our own lane or bridge for that matter. Fashion is growing and…whoever you want to be in fashion you can be!! JWORK has plans to be bigger than Tom Ford’s line (if you don’t know who that is do some research).
What themes/looks/styles do you see your brand moving away from?
We just want to keep getting better as a Brand; we don’t want to repeat history over and over again. We are staying away from clothes that just look way too big on a person. Period! We also want to steer clear of the popular skulls, and hearts, and swords, the stuff everyone is doing similar to what Ed Hardy has done. You know, keep doing us, stay JWORK. Keep using the things our brand is founded upon. The military mindset, the belief that we are all royalty, and the 5 Star Lifestyle! Fashion is freedom of speech, and JWORK LIMITED is preaching!
What has been a surprise fashion hit over the last year?
Skinny Jeans came from out of nowhere!!! And that’s all we will say about skinnies.
Jermaine might have little to say about skinny jeans, but his brand sure has a lot to say in terms of style to SoJones readers. Here are some of SoJones-approved JWORK LIMITED pieces, which you can easily cop at their website for a price range of $20.00 – $45.00 a piece. They’re having discounts, though, so you’ll be able to save some cash while lookin’ fly.
