T.I.′s Akoo Clothing Line Continues Hip-Hop Artist′s Success

Greenville, SC (Sojones.com) – After making a mistake in his life that opened his eyes to a bigger picture, rapper TI looks to continue his positive success record with the forwarding of Akoo clothing line. Launching his Akoo clothing brand this past August at the MAGIC fashion convention in Las Vegas, the rapper continues to promote his limited production Hip-Hop clothing brand .

“The brand name itself is great. As he once said in his raps, a king does not push his people poison, and this line is a testament to his positive thoughts. If he’s behind the designs, then its also obvious he has another talent because the themes and concepts of his clothing line can compete with brands such as LRG, Mark Ecko signature collection, and R+,” says Sojones.com Hip-Hop clothing site founder Rodrick Rainey.

AKOO clothing’s name, which means A King of One’s Self, is definitely an obvious showing of the rapper’s good intentions. While some may say it’s just a ploy to correct wrongs, the line was in planning before federal raiding of T.I.’s personal property and Trap Muzik recording studios.

Akoo looks to be a cross between Hip-Hop clothing and streetwear brands. T-shirts, vests, and other tops can be seen in the rapper’s latest music videos such as “Swing Your Rag”. Photos from the rapper’s Akoo clothing photo shoot can also be seen on the Sojones.com Fashion Forum. Collaborations between Akoo and influential figures may be in the works as well according.
