Urban And Hip Hop Fashion Retailer Gogenx Launch Online Store

GoGenX Inc., an Urban and Hip-Hop clothing retail store chain, has moved forward into the always expanding Internet business world. The company plans to have their GoGenx.com e-store complete by mid or late June. Already receiving orders, inventory available on the GoGenx.com web site represents a very small percentage of what GenX is preparing for on-line. The company is very excited about the positive start which symbolizes high chances for major growth.

GoGenx.com currently lists 17 brands on their site, combining majors that already have a strong following with newer, growing-in-demand brands such as Five Four, Skin Industries, and 5ive Pointz. GoGenx buyer and online store manager Jason McComas also told SoJones he has plans to make other Urban boutique-like brands available on GoGenx.com.

“I think Five Four is definitely going to be a big line in the coming months… With the trends in urban fashion pointing to a more boutique look such as with LRG i feel that lines such as Militree, Live Mechanics, and Five Four will be at the cutting edge of that trends,” said McComas to SoJones about adding the newer labels.

With over 10 years experience as a chain buyer, McComas also told SoJones.com that GoGenx invests 8 figures annually in clothing merchandise. His plans as on-line store manager are to make a sizeable portion of the product they order available to shoppers on-line. GoGenx will also go a further step to supply demand, taking product from their store to supply on-line demand.

Major brands such as Rocawearclothing, New Era fitted caps, Apple Bottoms womenswear, Ecko clothing, G-Unit brand, and others are also being sold on GoGenx.com currently. Most of GoGenx.com’s inventory for these and other brands yet to be added to the image base. Daily additions to the site will occur over the next month as fresh inventory arrives and existing product is photographed.

GoGenx.com is a subsidiary of GoGenX Incorporated. GenX’s retail chain of stores expands across the United States with over 40 stores in 11 states. The GenX company opened its first store in 1998 and has had rapid growth since. Testing new retail markets regularly, plans to open multiple stores in the large urban market of Atlanta, Georgia is the company’s latest vision.
