In February 2007, ODYN jeans founders Emmy Lauridsen and Leigh Brown launched Blank Denim, a unique collection of stylish yet inexpensive denims. Blank Denims are famous for its eclectic pieces and unique basics with catchy wash names such as “Grimey,” “Dazed and Confused,” and “Ike and Tina.”

Blank Denims aim to appease the denim needs of the hip and youthful clientele. Its quality denims, fabulous washes, and superb knits are inspired by pop culture and the wide array of fashion expressions from each generation of stylistas. Prices range from $60-$100 so you can look like a true-blue fashionista without burning a hole in your wallet. After all, Blank Denims believe that “not all Premium jeans come with a premium price tag”.

Blank Denim unveiled their first-ever collection during the Fall 2007 season. The groundbreaking collection contained phenomenal pieces such as the High N Waisted Supa Short Skinnie in Playa Wash, Studded Skinnie Classique in Creamy wash, Skinnie Classique in Gunmetal Wash, Skinnie Classique in Dazed and Confused Wash, Skinnie Classique in Ike and Tina wash, and Studded Skinnie Classique in Creamy wash.

Blank Denim celebrated its Spring 2008 collection with a theme of “Nu Rave meets New York via Paper Planes”. The collection included the Pretty Kitty High N’ Waisted Supa Skinnie, Crack head Skinnie Classique, Yo Majesty High N’ Waisted Short, Rock Da Shocka High n’ Waisted A-line short, Playa High N Waisted Mini, Sex Me up, and Star wars High N Waisted wide leg.

By Fall 2008 the brand’s collection featured impeccable denim art which included: the Grey Skinnie Classique, Hustla Skinnie Classique, Twilight High N’ Waisted Straighta Leg,  Noir Dolman Jacket, and the Black Maiden Skirt.

Although their tagline “Shooting blanks since 2007″ seems to catch attention, on the contrary, Blank continues to sell pants like hot cakes.

Some of the many Blank Denim fans includes celebrities and pop stars such diva Mariah Carey, Transformers’ Megan Fox, Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, teen popstar and actress Hilary Duff, musician Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, and 90210’s Anna Lynne McCord.

The label has also caught press attention from print moguls The New York Post, Women’s Wear Daily, Life and Style, Sportswear, Wish, Teen Vogue, Los Angeles Magazine, Daily Candy, Lucky, and She Finds.
