District 81 Clothing, a newbie in the fashion industry is making quite some noise in Detroit. Ty and T.P, representatives of District 81 have an objective to give consumers quality clothes that help the buyers to be able to express themselves and show their individuality, style and lifestyle through their fashion line. The label, only presented in March 13, 2009 entered the business with a huge party and without a doubt, their opening proved to be a success.

Throughout the first  few months, District 81 worked to promote their line through sponsoring other events like The Prelude, Forever Young, The Prestige and recently, Off the Wall. With their trendy, classic and expressive designs, District 81 made it with a bang. The newest collection by District 81 was stylish and comfortable while the artwork was incredibly eye-catching. This was one of the main reasons why the label moved into women’s wear, because it wasn’t just the men who appreciated the designs.

The label produces a variety of designs for men’s wear of t-shirts, jeans, crewnecks, winter jackets, polo shirts, polo jackets, leather jackets, button ups, hoodies and accessories like caps and bandanas. Recently, the brand has also expanded, producing now a line of designs for women’s t-shirts as well.

Haters Keep Hating Shirt

With the competitive designs and the outstanding artwork by District 81, numerous music artists such as Jazze Pha, Akon, Brian Angel, Big Sean, Donnie Klang, Royce and Vishus, Sean Kingston, Ludacris, Jadakiss, T Pain, Aaron Reid, Dapper Dan, Paradime Kid, Princeton and Kerri Hilson have all been seen to support and wear the line. Aside from that, the label has also cooperated with other fashion lines and music companies like Burn Rubber, Bobs Classic, E.B.E, 60 Degrees and Revive and Lady L Tattoos.

District 81’s collections can be bought online from Kazbah, Flymode and Karmaloop. Around the U.S., District 81 has their clothes sold in 40 stores including Hang Time in Indiana, Playmakers in Milwaukee, Pivot Foot in New Orleans, I Am in St. Louis and Elite in Tennessee. In international stores, the collection can also be bought in the store Recognize in Sweden.

This newbie company is moving quite fast in the fashion industry, but with talented designers and a love for self-expression, success is only a print away.
