EC Headwear

EC Headwear Glasses
EC Headwear is owned and operated by an unlikely owner, 18 year old Matt Benedetto. The label started with humble beginnings when 14 year old Matt was crocheting hats for fun. Now Matt runs this multinational streetwear corporation out of his college dorm room. Believe it or not, the label did not start as streetwear, but with its innovative designs and massive buzz EC Headwear made its way on the streetwear scene - and I do not expect them to be leaving anytime soon. The label formerly called East Coast Headwear shortened the name to EC Headwear. The label sells beanie hats, sunglasses, tees, sweatshirts and gloves.

Eight professional skiers advertise the products by wearing them and they have graced the pages of Snowboard Magazine and Freeskier Magazine. Skateboarder Steve Berra wears EC shades regualrly. Not only does some of the ski and skate board industries rock this fresh gear but so does Matt’s college ski team which the label sponsors. The line is now in stores in eight countries including Canada, Switzerland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Czech Republic and the United States.
If you want to join the EC Headwear craze you can purchase the items online at the label’s official website www.echeadwear.com as well as online retailers www.karmaloop.com and www.getboard.coms. The label can also be found at these retailers across the country; Golf and Ski Warehouse, Pinewski Board and Ski, and Jibij Pro shop.
