In 2007, Joyrich, a revolutionary clothing line, opened its doors to cater the fashion-forward masses. The label, which bears the concept “Freedom / Hope / Dream / Love,” believes in creating looks which are casual, laid-back, rich, and luxurious. True to this concept, Joyrich has created apparel which are rich in content, color, and quality. Joyrich’s moniker is inspired by “promoting a lovely lifestyle rich in content.” It specializes in streetwear, sneakers, and accessories for men and women.
The Joyrich boutique carries trendy local and international labels, as well as its own line for men and women. The label, inspired by music, fashion, and art, continues to attract patrons from all around the globe who share the same passions in life.
The unique line is the brainchild of Tom Hirota, who believes in the philosophy “never forget to enjoy life.” In his interview with a French magazine, he cites taking inspiration from “just having a good balance between everything that creates joyrich.”
This fashionable store and brand owner aims to make his mark on America – and all over the world. Hirota’s creative juices were fermented by his decade-long experience in the fashion biz – making Joyrich (which is located at 7700 Melrose Avenue in LA) a hub for fashion greatness. As for the key to Joyrich’s fashion forward clothes, it is Tom’s ability to keep his eyes and ears on the latest trends in the world today. Throughout his travails as a fashion designer for other labels, his vision turned towards creating a name for himself.

“It inspired me to create something new and unique yet entailing aspects that everyone and anyone can relate to,” he added.
Joyrich fans include Billboard chart topper Lil Wayne, Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am, artist Lupe Fiasco, DJ Steve Aoki, fashion designer Brian Lichtenberg, DJ Blu Jemz, DJ Mr. Choc, Guns N Bombs, Hollywood Holt, and DJ A Track. Joyrich merchandise has also graced the pages of a number of magazines, including University Magazine, Fader and French magazine Be Street.
So what do the fans have to expect from this great line? Well, for starters, the relatively-young brand aims to expand its reach to international shores. It also aims to team up with artists and brands to come up with exclusive and limited edition products, events, and many other great things in the years to come. After all, Joyrich was born in fashion-forward Japan and developed in the trendy City of Angels, so you can expect the brand’s global boom not far from now.
