In 2002, Angel Cabada created KR3W Apparel, a skateboarding clothing line based in Costa Mesa California. The brand’s namesake came out of the term “crew”, which refered to gathering or group of friends.
Angel, a skater, knew very well what his fellow skateboarders needed when it came to clothes which were trendy yet easy to move around in. This knowledge helped Cabada create his designs, alongside his experience at TSA Clothing.
“As a skateboarder, I created KR3W because skateboarding was desperately in need of something that would exceed what was currently available. We never cut corners and never look back,” Angel said.
At first, KR3W apparel only focused on tees and jackets. However, Angel noticed that most skateboarders wore brand-name jeans which was unparalleled to the skater lifestyle. Based on this observation, Angel ventured into the denim market. Just like brand name denims, KR3W apparel makes use of high-quality materials and washes.
Now, KR3W apparel ranges from denims, shorts, jackets, knits, fleeces, t-shirts, hats, accessories, to daggers. To compliment these clothes, Angel has launched Supra Footwear in 2006.

“The combination of an All Star Kast with top quality fabrics, treatments, and designs have brought us to the forefront of fashion. Season after season we keep raising the bar by doing nothing less than what we envision, without guidelines or rules,” Angel said about his brand’s quality line-up.
With these in the bag, it’s no wonder why KR3W apparel has earned a famous following, which includes hip hop artist Lil Wayne. The clothing line has also graced the pages of a number of magazines, including Transworld Skateboarding, Monster Skateboarding, Thrasher, and Soma.
True to its skateboarding inspiration, KR3W takes pride in its “crew,” which includes skateboarders Erik Ellington, Antwuan Dixon, and Evan Hernandez; Guitarist and Producer Ima Robot, She Wants Revenge’s Justin Warfield, and DJ Steve Aoki.
KR3W Apparel is distributed throughout the nation and in retailers in Canada, in greater Europe, South America, and Asia. For more info about this breakthrough line, visit www.kr3wapparel.com.
