Mikada Clothing is a raw and edgy t-shirt line created by Amy Frederick (aka Amy Cakes). This brilliant, self-taught designer – who is famous for her clean, chic designs and colorful, digitally illustrated femme fatales – honed her designing skills as designer at Walt Disney Company and Guess Inc., before taking a chance at her own clothing company.

The clothes, first launched in February 2008 at the Magic Marketplace, are laced with hints of pro-feminism, artsy-fartsy designs, and tons of elegant taste. The inspirations behind her bold and graphic prints are the “strong, independent women.”
