Nixon, launched in 1997 by Andy Laats and Chad DiNenna, is a label which specializes in watches and accessories. The inspiration behind the founding of the label was the frustration the founders had with the quality of watches available in the market. Thus, Nixon watches, which can adapt to any kind of environment – whether for work or play- was created.

Nixon humble beginnings started from custom designed watches, and has added accessories and limited soft goods in 2000.

Since watches are Nixon’s trademark accessory, it comes as no surprise that its LTD watches are the favorites of watch enthusiasts. Included in this premium collection are the Tokion Metro, LTD Leather, RDS player, LTD Rock, Japan Gold Player, Murisaki Key, The Hitchhiker’s Player, LTD Rock, Beams Rotolog, Barneys Skull Rotolog, Barneys Diamond Rotolog, Sly Vega, WTA Tahiti, Jacks Gold Lodown, WTA Jeffreys Bay, Project Blue Lodown, Marui Navy Rotolog, Modical Rotolog, WTA Mundaka Spain, The 51-30 Barneys New York, LTD Collection 2007, WTA Triple Crown, Barneys 51-30 Vegas, Spring Spree, WTA Tahiti, and LTD 2008.

Now, the Encinitas, California-based company specializes in a number of products, including watches, bags, wallets, belts, accessories, hats, beanies, shirts, jackets, fleeces and headphones for both sexes.

In Nixon’s objective of “reconciling the perspective and needs” of skateboarders, surfers, and snowboarders, the label has worked with a select team of extreme athletes who contribute to the label’s aim of expressing a single unified view: team designed, custom built.
