Obey is not just a clothing line. Obey is a major urban phenomenon which has transformed streetwear into art canvases. Under the motto “Participation turns plans intro reality”, Obey launched Awareness clothing line. All profits made from the sale of Obey Awareness products are donated to support emerging and relevant issues worldwide. The aim is simple: to educate the people and generate healthy reactions which are truly capable to turn a better page in our future. This was the case of Awareness campaign for Fall 2008 which introduced to the public 11th Hour, a documentary narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio that tells a terrifying story about the state of humanity and the world. The film is a powerful warning to change our ways of living and save the planet while there is hope.

Shepard Fairy has done brilliant artwork for famous brands and famous people. Obama, Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, Adidas, Fuji Bikes, Public Enemy are just a few examples.
