People’s Market, created by design director Dexter Wong in 2002, is a clothing line which consists of street smart men’s and women’s clothes. Like the brand name suggests, People’s Market clothing are made with chic trends and individuality in mind. True enough, these iconic duds rise above the rest with the designer’s clever use of textiles and graphic prints.

According to Georgina Bateman of Acapella, distributor of People’s Markets clothing, “Dexter Wong has been an institution over the last twenty years, dressing fashion’s sub cultures and is internationally recognized for always being at the forefront of breaking trends.”

She goes on to add about the line’s latest collection: “People’s Market’s collection excels itself this Spring Summer with contemporary cuts and quirky animal prints, one of the biggest stories to grace the catwalks in 09. Trend driven, the pieces really capture what’s happening in urban style now.”
