It all started in 2005. Back then, Eik was a young business student at the University of Denmark eager to put his creative mind at work. Believe it or not, he found his inspiration in his girlfriend’s closet.  Los Drillos became the first Rubber Duck shoe line with just 1200 happy pairs in the stores. Eik worked alone on marketing, distributing and selling his product. The customers’ positive reaction encouraged him to push forward. However, the big hit came next. This time, childhood memories triggered the creative process behind the popular Rubber Duck SnowJoggers. This cool and functional winter boot that combines a runner sole with a warm, padded upper and dazzling colors was and remains a highly sought after footwear. Nevertheless, it wasn’t easy for Eik to convince the stores to display his newly created SnowJoggers. He used his best charms - even begging stores to take his 600 pairs of SnowJoggers. Some stores accepted and the product sold like crazy in just three days. This event marked the official launch of Rubber Duck brand in 2006.
