A tasteful fusion of European fashion and urban eclectic – that’s the Azzure Denim trademark. Founded in 1999, the label takes pride in this chic combination that has allowed them to dominate the denim market with their jean styles and designs. Unlike other lines which flow with current trends, Azzure creates unique urban clothes which tastefully break free from the dictates of the fashion world.

Azzure makes use of sophisticated equipments which help give way to unique fabric weaves that can be spun to riveted, super seamed or molded fits with a funky style. Despite this time-consuming yet quality way of production, Azzure Denim firmly stands for one belief most companies throw to the wayside: quality over quantity.

The company is proud of its denim collection, which is very unique because of its’ special washes, textures, and design techniques. It manages to perfectly mix a hint of haute couture with urban street wear. The collection boasts of chic aesthetic while channeling the “wear anywhere” feel.

The denim details and treatments remain to be the collection’s strongest points. Azzure Denim’s ability to combine the identity jean patch and stitch color makes the collection one of the most sought-after lines in various boutiques and stores.

Azzure also tries to bear a transcending message in their products that emanates from the classic Hollywood era to the modernistic ages. Case in point: one of Azzure Denim company’s ads featured a black and white comic book with some color added along the way. The 2006 campaigned ad, which featured video vixen “Buffie the Body”, was inspired by new movies with vintage flair like “V For Vendetta” and “Sin City.” The old Hollywood glam meets the modern age-themed ad graced the pages of Vibe, XXL, Fader, King, and Complex magazines.

Among the many steadfast Azzure supporters are celebrities, musicians, and athletes. The long list includes pop star Britney Spears, Ron Artest, Jules Santana, Wyclef Jean, Lil Bow Wow, the Penthouse Pets, and Kevin Federline, among many others.

Some of the bestsellers include the Wolf Jean (relaxed fit, vintage wash rinse, with distressed crinkle effect, synthetic leather trim on pockets, curved seam on rear legs, and true to size) and the Rebel Yell Jean (straight leg fit, distressed light wash with sandblast, oversized flap over rear pockets with embroidery, metal rivet hardware along trim of front pockets, and true to size.)

Male patrons also love the rhinestone-embellished Ice Life Jeans, Blue Sabbath Jeans (which pairs well to Azzure Denim’s fist of fury tee), and Judas jeans (fly high with the embroidered eagle on the side.)

Besides denim jeans, Azzure denim also designs shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, and footwear.

Azzure’s cute shoes include Yumi Mid (smooth leather panels in assorted colors, perforated toe box, high top design, patent leather tongue, and rubber foot bed) and Shelly Mid Kisses (classic high top design, lipstick images on toe box, airmesh tongue, self tie lace closure, and rubber foot bed.)

Facts and figures

Now a decade in the fashion business, Azzure Denim has estimated annual sales of almost $3.2 million, thanks to the creative mind of 27-year-old fashion mogul Ruben Campos, formerly a seller of Parasuco.

Entrepreneur Ralph Reynolds, a Parasuco patron, was impressed with Campos’ sales and management ability so he asked him to join his RP 55 Team. Campos first was reluctant, but then later decided to join forces with him.

Campos believes that they had a good run, because of the fact that they started with humble beginnings. Despite their massive sales, Campos, who is in charge of design, marketing, and sales, likes his denim-making process to be simple. Instead of warehouses and elite lofts, he chose to work quietly in his townhouse along First Colonial Road in Virginia.

Azzure Denims are currently sold at Up Against the Wall, Fred Segal LA, Harvey Nichols Dubai, among many others. With Azzure Denim’s stylish, quality jeans, it’s not hard to belief why “Love, Life, and Denim” are the only three things we need.
