Charlotte Ronson was born in London and raised in edgy and vibrant city of New York. Although Charlotte was always interested in fashion, she began designing clothes only to please her friends. In 2000, Charlotte launched her first line. Named C. By May 2002, Ronson had opened her first trendy boutique in the hip Nolita neighborhood, thus creating a big buzz in New York and in the entire world of fashion.

In 2005, the already famous C. Ronson label started a collaboration with Sanei International – the Japanese clothing giant which holds over 1000 fashionable stores all over Asia. This was the moment when C. Ronson brand became Charlotte Ronson and simultaneously started its assault on the Asian market and planed a strategic global expansion. The collaboration was a hit. Sanei International opened so far over 14 Charlotte Ronson boutiques only in Japan.

Now, Charlotte Ronson is a celebrated fashion designer who always makes sensational appearances at glamorous fashion events like New York Fashion Week and she is sought after by many retailers to create exclusive lines. In 2008, Charlotte unleashed into the streets Play by C. Ronson, a diffusion line specially designed for urban fashion enthusiasts everywhere. The collection delivers high quality garments at a lower price, thus making them more accessible to a larger number of people. Charlotte describes the personality of the girl who would love to wear Play by C. Ronson. “The Play girl is edgy but still wants to be on trend. She isn’t afraid to take risks and she likes to mix and match.”

Another recent line launched by Charlotte Ronson brand is I [Heart] Ronson, which was launched in Spring 2009 in 600 J.C. Penney stores as well as their online store.  I [Heart] Ronson is a modern and affordable sportswear collection which captured media attention with a fabulous ad campaign and a LA launch party packed with red carpet celebrities such as Nicole Richie, Milla Jovovich and Sting.

Charlotte came up with a special collaboration for Fall 2009. She joined forces with Rag n Bone stylist Natasha Royt to design a sophisticated yet highly wearable collection. This proves that Charlotte Ronson design aesthetic continues to grow and mature each season. Moreover, Charlotte Ronson brand has become a highly appreciated international brand that is present in the finest boutiques throughout the world.
