Ecko Red is a women’s line originating from urban men’s wear line Ecko Unlimited. The clothing line is a vibrant, unique, and youthful fashion brand that aims to set itself apart from other fashion lines.

Ecko Red was created in 2001 and subsidiary of Ecko Unlimited, a fashion corporation created by founder and Chief Creative Officer Marc Milecofsky (a.k.a. Marc Ecko), Seth Gerszberg, and Marci Tapper.

Other industries included in the Mark Ecko Enterprise are Ecko Unlimited, Mark Ecko Cut and Sew, Zoo York, and Avirex. The enterprise also looks over media ventures such as Complex Magazine, Ecko TV, and Marc Ecko Entertainment.

As one of the company’s newest brands, Ecko Red establishes itself as a stylish, uninhibited, laid-back, and fun apparel line. It was founded with the belief that fashionable women shouldn’t have to compensate style on a budget.

Ecko Red prides itself in fusing sultriness with refinement, and womanliness with casual street flair. It is able to combine both ends of the spectrum and harmonize them in one attractive piece of garment. Ecko Red is inspired by the runway as it manages to convert couture trends into wearable shirts, jeans, hoodies, jackets, dresses, denims, and sneakers.

The collection is also famous for its inventive “Athleisure” garments that make sure that you can move comfortably without sacrificing your feisty fashion sense. Some of the line’s products include the Ecko Red’s Rhino Logo Hoodie and Pant, Kiss Me Jacket and Pant, and Rhino Logo Hoodie and Pant.

In 2004, the brand began launching a footwear campaign as well as manufacturing clothing for girls, toddlers, and infants. Ecko Red draws inspiration from Hollywood stars, most recently High School Musical (HSM) star Vanessa Hudgens. She was signed in 2007, and has done two Ecko Red shoes commercials ever since.

Fellow HSM star Ashley Tisdale joined the Ecko Red campaign as well. Hudgens and Tisdale have promoted the brand well as they have provided their star power on countless Ecko Red advertisements and commercials.

Other than promoting the hottest celebrities to endorse the Ecko Red name, the brand’s merchandise has appeared in a number of magazines including Vogue, Glamour, Seventeen Magazine, Cosmo Girl, Marie Claire, People Style, In Touch Weekly, New York Times, Page Six, Latina, CW 11, Lifestyle, Footwear News, OK Weekly, Star, US Weekly, Lucky, Self, and Twist.
