LOT29

Lot29

mainAre you in a Looney mood? Check out Lot29’s eye-catching colorful crazy garments. The guys at Lot29 have an extravaganza of urbanwear inspired by your most famous cartoon heroes. Taz, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Bugs Bunny, Wyle E. Coyote and Marvin the Martian are artfully airbrushed on tops and bottoms.

Colorful Lot29 was unleashed onto the streets in 2001 by SouthPole, a label which continues to be acknowledged as one of the most popular labels in the urban garment industry. When SouthPole launched Lot29, it was already a leader in urban lifestyle for 10 years. That is why it was very important to create a unique style for the new brand. And with its flashy design prints and rainbow colors, it wasn’t so hard for Lot29 to develop a one of a kind personality.

Lot29 became an instant hit, especially with the fashion addicts in the United States of America who prefer fresh and extravagant wear. And let’s not forget the boys and girls with a mad passion for Looney Tunes and DC Universe. A part of Lot29’s success is due to the marketing power of celebrities. Cassidy, Juelz Santana, Keyshia Cole, Marques Houston, K.D. Aubert, Ciara, Mario and America’s Next Top Model winner Jaslene Gonzalez are some of the stars who power the label. Jaslene confesses her passion for Lot29 apparels and cartoon heroes. “I was a big fan of these cartoon characters before the brand started. Lot 29 it’s very animated, young, fresh and what everyone’s buying. I get a lot of compliments in the clothes.”

Cassidy is more than a powerful voice for Lot29; he is involved in the design process and brings insight into the street fashion trends. “I saw they had a lot of potential and I wanted to help them get more popular. Especially, where I’m from… me being a celebrity, rapper and musician: I know the things that I wear, say, and do people tend to follow. So, if I rock Lot 29 and let people know it’s a hot clothing line, essentially it’d be more successful. I wanted to play a part with helping them design and style the clothes that I will be comfortable wearing, so that other people could be comfortable wearing them.”

Janice Welles is Lot29’s Director of Marketing and Advertising. She explains that Lot29 is designed for a small niche of young people from high school to college who want to express themselves through boldly colorful garments. Moreover, Lot29 is a more mezzanine and affordable luxury brand marketed through retailers like Macy’s.

The brand is leading a social campaign that aims to promote education nationwide. Lot29 has teamed up with Entertainers for Education Alliance, a charity group that aims to empower teenagers through entertainment and fashion. Lot29 is rewarding teens that stay in school and listen to their teachers by inviting them to exclusive concerts.

Are you still in that Looney mood? Good. You can find Lot29 wear over the web at DrJays and other online stores.
