AKOO: Exclusive Look at T.I.’s Menswear Collection

Make no mistake– rapper TI’s apparel label AKOO is alive and kicking even though its frontman is currently away in the big house, doing his 366-day sentence.  AKOO -which is short for ‘A King Of Oneself’- is steaming ahead gearing up for Fall 2009.  Check out SoJones.com’s own Naja, who chatted it up with Dennis of AKOO about the upcoming fall pieces just now starting to hit stores.

AKOO 2009 collection highlights:

  • Striped polo shirts with AKOO’s signature colors: green, white and foxy orange
  • Soft-toned khakis and stylish plaids
  • Preppy cardigans and a sure sellout– a nylon windbreaker that comes in 3 colors: green orange and black
  • New denim washes

Unlike other celebrities who just lend their names to a clothing brand, TI is very involved in AKOO’s design process.  As Dennis stated, TI might wear other brands sometimes, but AKOO is what he likes to wear on a daily basis. We like a man who stands behind his brand– especially a handsome man like TIP!

TIP is a very dedicated man in all he does it is no surprise that his line is doing well when the guy behind it all works hard at making all the looks look good

    Please T.I.
I know you have that eagles eye. I have come up with a Baseball cap protector/ bag. this utility protects your collectable caps from crushing when you travel or just for safe keeping. I can imagine when rappers and baseball cap collectors go on a tour and the would want to carry more than one cap to look fresh where ever they will be performing and they are forced to carry one, its a hickup. I have come up with this device and will take your clothing line to onother level. Just invite me to come and show you this utility and you will be head over your heels. My name is Clement molefhe, tel 00267- 72348791, emai c.molefhe@gmail.com. I am based in Botswana, Southern Africa, but I have lived in Miami, Boston and London. I know what am talking about.
    You wont be disapointed.
