RP Genes are a bit hard to find, which just means you should watch out for them just that much harder. Their creative street fashion features a ‘two-in-one concept’ in almost all of their creations.  Some RP Genes signature details:

  • Look for detailed asymmetric zippers in unusual places.
  • Detachable hoodie-piece, making it a different form of jacket altogether.  It’s like buying 2 jackets in 1.
  • A hoodie with a nice safe place for your iPod.
  • Finally, the SoJones favorite: regular hoodie-turned-rockstar-jacket-with-signature-flap. They make it too easy to pull a hip-hop / Michael Jackson look.

    It really doesn’t seem that different to me than a lot of other hip-hop styles I have seen. It is like they went into someones closet and pulled stuff from the 80’s out and put it up for sale.
